This position is fully remote, making it accessible for qualified candidates throughout North Greece, New York, and beyond. The role operates primarily in a telehealth setting, leveraging technology to conduct assessments, counseling sessions, and group therapies. Our flexible work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of evening shifts tailored to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific needs and therapeutic goals of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient’s circumstances.

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions employing motivational interviewing techniques and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) approaches.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions to foster peer support and community engagement among participants in recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals facing challenges related to substance use disorders, including but not limited to addiction to alcohol, opioids, and other substances. Your role will be pivotal in navigating the complexities of addiction recovery, addressing the psychological, emotional, and social factors that affect your clients' journeys. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

• Demonstrated experience delivering both individual and group therapy in addiction treatment settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
