Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop personalized treatment plans by evaluating the emotional, social, and behavioral needs of students, ensuring each plan is tailored to individual circumstances.

• Conduct thorough interviews with students and their families to identify strengths, weaknesses, challenges, and resources available for support.
\n
• Administer assessments and create measurable goals that facilitate the client’s progress in therapy.
\n
• Provide ongoing counseling services and crisis intervention, addressing various issues such as anxiety, behavioral challenges, and family dynamics.

• Monitor and document clients’ progress through regular follow-ups and adjust treatment plans based on feedback and observed changes.

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss strategies for specific cases and coordinate care with educators, school psychologists, and other health professionals.

• Act as an advocate for students, connecting them to community resources and services that can support their recovery and development.

• Maintain meticulous records of sessions and progress reports in compliance with federal and state guidelines and establish procedures for reporting sensitive situations when necessary.

This role will primarily focus on school-aged children, providing mental health support that is tailored to meet their unique needs. Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Valid LCSW license to practice in the state of Illinois.

Compensation and Benefits\n
