Our facility is equipped with the latest technology and resources designed to aid in rehabilitation, ensuring that our therapists can provide the highest quality care. The work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs through various tests including range of motion, muscle strength, and functional performance standards to develop personalized treatment plans.Create and implement individualized treatment programs based on assessment results, continual progress monitoring, and physician recommendations, adapting these plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Deliver hands-on therapy using a variety of techniques, such as manual therapies, therapeutic exercises, and modalities including heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation.Educate patients and their families about self-care techniques, home exercise programs, and preventative measures to enhance recovery and health maintenance.Serve as a consultant to physicians and interdisciplinary team members regarding patient treatment protocols, progress, and adaptive equipment needs.Oversee and supervise treatment provided by assistants and non-professional personnel, ensuring adherence to quality care standards.Patient Population / Client FocusOur clinic primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. As a physical therapist, you will work closely with patients of various age groups, from adolescents involved in sports to older adults managing age-related conditions. Each interaction provides an opportunity to make a significant difference in their recovery and overall health journey.QualificationsDoctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.Current licensure in the State of California as a Physical Therapist is essential.A minimum of three years of clinical experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is required to ensure competence in dealing with a broad range of cases.A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against the license must be maintained.Preferred ExperienceDemonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and their application in patient recovery.Experience in developing and implementing dynamic exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.A background in team-based care settings, highlighting collaboration with healthcare providers for holistic patient care.Compensation and BenefitsThe compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
