HR Project Manager

DescriptionKforce's client in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide project management support for the Job & Skills Architecture (JSA) initiative. This role ensures successful delivery of project milestones, alignment with Workday implementation timelines, effective governance, and coordination between internal stakeholders and external vendor partners. The ideal candidate has strong HR transformation and technology project management experience, combined with excellent governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication skills.Key Responsibilities:* Maintain the integrated JSA project plan in alignment with Workday implementation* Drive project milestones, deliverables, and timelines to completion* Coordinate activities across internal stakeholders and external vendor partners* Track progress against the approved project schedule and critical milestones* Deliver updated project plans and weekly status reports* Ensure alignment across JSA, Workday, Compensation, HRBP, Change Management, Communications, and Governance workstreams* Manage cross-functional dependencies and integration points* Facilitate working sessions, stakeholder reviews, and sponsor decision points* Maintain a dependency tracker and workstream alignment updates* Maintain the project RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) log* Identify emerging risks and recommend mitigation strategies* Escalate issues requiring leadership decisions* Maintain a decision log and governance reporting* Deliver weekly RAID logs and decision trackers* Coordinate deliverables and timelines with external vendors* Prepare materials for governance and sponsor meetings* Provide executive-level project health reporting* Track action items through closure* Maintain executive dashboards and governance updatesRequirements* PMP Certification* 7+ years of project/program management experience* Experience leading HR transformation or HR technology initiatives* Experience managing third-party vendors* Strong governance, risk management, and stakeholder management skills* Familiarity with Workday implementations and HR operating processesPreferred Qualifications:* Job Architecture experience* HRBP, Compensation, or Total Rewards familiarityKey Skills:Project & Program Management* Workday Implementation* Job & Skills Architecture* RAID Management* Governance & Risk Management* Vendor Management* Stakeholder Communication* Executive Reporting* Change Management* HR Transformation* Cross-Functional CoordinationJob TypeContractCompensation50 - $70
