Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide focused individual therapy sessions to adult clients in a remote outpatient setting, tailored to address their unique therapeutic needs related to workplace injuries.

• Lead weekly psychoeducational classes that empower individuals to understand their conditions better and enhance coping strategies.

• Carry out brief therapeutic interventions and progress evaluations through the Functional Rehabilitation Program (FRP), ensuring clients are supported throughout their treatment journey.

• Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for an active caseload, utilizing best practices in pain psychology.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the clinic to refer clients to additional supportive services as necessary, fostering an integrated approach to care.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in our EMR system, facilitating continuity of care.

• Uphold professional standards and ethical guidelines, providing clinical care that prioritizes clients’ rights and dignity.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve clients who have sustained injuries in the workplace, many of whom are struggling with chronic pain, anxiety disorders, depression, and trauma. This role requires you to be attuned to the emotional and psychological needs of these individuals, providing support that helps them navigate their recovery journey and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active California Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW).
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience in direct clinical practice with individuals affected by chronic pain or related psychological challenges.

• Expertise in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions is required.
\n
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective engagement with clients, families, and team members.

• Exceptional ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds, exhibiting empathy and understanding.

• Capability to utilize sound judgment in clinical decision-making processes, ensuring client-centered care.
