This contract opportunity allows you to work onsite for the full 2026–2027 school year, providing special education evaluations for students spanning preschool through 12th grade. As a valued member of a collaborative team, you will use your expertise to help foster a positive learning environment and ensure students’ educational needs are met.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in School Psychology
- Approval as a School Psychologist by the Michigan Department of Education
- Strong experience conducting special education evaluations
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educational staff
- Proven ability to adapt to evolving caseload needs and requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments and special education evaluations across all school ages (preschool–12th grade)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to interpret results and make informed recommendations
- Support the development of individualized education programs (IEPs) to address student needs
- Ensure strict compliance with all state and federal special education requirements and timelines
- Deliver direct and consultative support to help create inclusive, effective learning environments
- Remain flexible to role adjustments as district needs evolve throughout the contract period
