Contract HR Assistant

Salary: USD21 - USD23 per hour Temporary Opportunity | Fully Onsite Our client is seeking an HR Assistant to support daily human resources and administrative operations in a growing, fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for someone with administrative or early HR experience who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and working closely with leadership and employees. In this role, you'll serve as a key support resource for both HR and office operations, helping maintain employee records, assist with onboarding and offboarding, answer employee questions, and ensure day-to-day processes run smoothly. Responsibilities: Maintain employee records and HR documentation Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and employment-related paperwork Update employee information within HR systems Respond to employee and manager inquiries Support HR reporting, compliance, and audit activities Assist with office administration and employee requests Coordinate HR-related projects, activities, and events Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information Provide administrative support to management and HR leadership Qualifications: 1-2 years of HR, administrative, office support, or related experience Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing demands Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and take initiative Experience handling confidential information Paycom experience is a plus but not required What We're Looking For: Friendly and approachable personality Strong follow-through and problem-solving skills Ability to adapt and pivot quickly in a changing environment Dependable, resilient, and team-oriented Eager to learn and contribute wherever needed Compensation & Schedule: $20-$23/hour Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Fully onsite in Oklahoma City Temporary assignment expected to last approximately 1-3 months Potential for extension or longer-term opportunities for exceptional performers #J-18808-Ljbffr Beacon Hill
