You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and wellness coaches, to ensure coordinated and effective client care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions to clients, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Develop treatment plans informed by measurement-based care practices, ensuring tailored and effective interventions.
\n
• Engage in collaborative discussions with care team members to foster an integrated approach to patient health.
\n
• Offer constructive feedback on program curricula and training protocols to enhance service delivery.
\n
• Utilize technology effectively to enhance treatment accessibility and efficacy, remaining open to ongoing technological advancements in care delivery.

• Maintain vigilance regarding risk management issues, documenting sessions and interventions comprehensively and in a timely manner.
\n
• Participate in initial and ongoing training to stay updated on the latest evidence-based practices and technology in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPCC will primarily work with children and adolescents grappling with anxiety and related disorders. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful, therapeutic relationships and provide support to families navigating mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid and unrestricted independent counselor license in the state of California.
\n
• Strong proficiency in various counseling methodologies and a commitment to implementing evidence-based practices in your work.

• Demonstrated experience in working with children and adolescents, particularly in managing anxiety disorders.

• Familiarity with technology platforms used for telehealth services, alongside basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on building rapport with clients.

• Cultural competence and a commitment to diversity and inclusion in practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-graduate experience in a mental health counseling role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Heartford Mental Health Solutions offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Eligible full-time employees will also enjoy a robust benefits package, which includes:
