Our team adheres to a structured schedule, with work hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand clients’ mental health conditions, utilizing standardized assessment tools and techniques to gather comprehensive data.

• Develop customized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based and solution-focused therapy approaches for each individual client.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic strategies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of clients.

• Maintain confidential client records in strict compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring meticulous documentation of sessions and treatment progress.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and improve patient outcomes.

• Participate actively in case consultations and peer review sessions to share insights and enhance service delivery across the clinic.

• Educate clients and their families by providing essential resources and information on mental health conditions and available community support systems.

• Stay abreast of current research, methodologies, and best practices in the mental health field to ensure high-quality client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at West Behavioral Stress Management, you will work with a diverse array of clients experiencing various mental health challenges. This includes adolescents and adults dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
