Work Environment\n

This position is uniquely designed as a remote telehealth role, allowing you to collaborate with fellow mental health professionals from the comfort of your home. Our telehealth platform enables efficient service delivery to patients, ensuring that therapeutic interventions are accessible and convenient. While our core work hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., some flexibility may be required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed evaluations to assess patients' trauma backgrounds and determine effective treatment strategies.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma healing, emotional resilience, and mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on processing trauma, developing coping mechanisms, and fostering recovery.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and unified treatment approaches for all patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, responding with sensitivity and effectiveness.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and practical coping strategies, fostering a supportive network.

• Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and confidentiality guidelines.

• Engage in regular professional development, including case consultations and team meetings, to share insights and enhance clinical practice.

• Stay updated on the latest research, trends, and innovations in trauma treatment to continually improve patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population includes individuals from diverse backgrounds, particularly those in the LGBTQ+ community who have been affected by various forms of trauma. We focus on treating conditions like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role will be critical in providing tailored support that respects and acknowledges each patient's unique experiences and identities.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctorate in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or psychologist in California.

• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and trauma-related disorders.

• Formal training in trauma-focused therapeutic techniques is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills, characterized by empathy, active listening, and a nonjudgmental attitude.

• The ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations while offering compassionate support.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years' post-licensure experience is encouraged, applicants with exceptional clinical skills and a proven track record in trauma therapy will be highly regarded. Experience with evidence-based therapeutic interventions, particularly with LGBTQ+ clients, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
