Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients’ mental health status through virtual sessions.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, incorporating diverse therapeutic methodologies to promote client engagement and healing.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust therapeutic strategies as necessary to ensure effective treatment outcomes.

• Provide referrals to other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, when necessary, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Prepare and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR), ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.

• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and foster collaborative approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse clientele experiencing a range of mental health disorders, including but not limited to: anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, substance abuse disorders, and relationship issues. Emphasis will be placed on culturally responsive care, ensuring that all clients feel understood and respected regardless of their background.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• At least four years of relevant clinical experience providing mental health counseling to individuals with varied demographics and challenges.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, especially in a telehealth format.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to respond calmly in high-pressure situations.

• Superb communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate rapport-building with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
