Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed evaluations and assessments to identify the needs of children and families.

• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) that cater to the unique circumstances of each case.

• Monitor ongoing progress and outcomes, ensuring that all interventions are tailored to effectively support the child’s developmental trajectory.

• Establish trusting relationships with children and their families, promoting a safe and healthy learning environment.
\n
• Provide evidence-based strategies and recommendations to families, empowering them with the tools to enhance their child's development.

• Facilitate regular communication with colleagues and other professionals, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations throughout all services provided.

• Utilize natural environment teaching methods, integrating developmental support seamlessly into the everyday life of families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically focuses on young children, from infants to toddlers, experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. You will provide critical early intervention services that focus not only on the needs of the child but also foster parental engagement and education, ensuring that families feel supported and informed. Your interventions will help children develop vital skills—including physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills—during the crucial early years of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work is required.

• Current LCSW licensure issued by the Department of Public Health.

• Valid driver’s license, as travel may be required for home visits as needed.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple active cases effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While one year of experience in early intervention services is required, candidates with additional experience working with children and families in diverse settings will be prioritized. Compensation and Benefits\n
