This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in managing your schedule while working with a diverse patient population. However, you will be integral to our outpatient office in Oceanside, collaborating regularly with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and unified approach to patient care. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices under the oversight of a clinical supervisor.

• Thoroughly document patient interactions and progress notes in compliance with department standards, ensuring documentation is completed at the end of each shift and reflects clear progress towards treatment goals.

• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and their families, ensuring they feel welcomed and informed about treatment plans and objectives.

• Assist with patient orientation and address any personal needs of patients, facilitating their engagement in the therapeutic process.

• Monitor and report any changes in a patient's behavior or emotional state, taking proactive measures to address potential crises according to established protocols.

• Showcase effective time management skills by prioritizing tasks and utilizing work time efficiently during busy clinic hours.

• Advocate for patients in need of additional services when appropriate, linking them with community resources.
\n
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with fellow professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited program.

• An independent mental health license in California, such as LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW, is required. Limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.

• Proven ability to make informed assessments and decisions regarding treatment planning and implementation.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to client care.

• Strong computer skills to effectively navigate documentation and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably in outpatient environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
