Work Environment\n

The position offers the convenience of remote work, allowing flexibility while still being part of a vibrant community health clinic. Our team is comprised of multi-disciplinary professionals committed to offering comprehensive mental health services in a supportive virtual setting. Working hours are primarily Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility required to meet patient appointments and needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to capture the unique backgrounds and experiences of each patient.

• Design and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that reflect the cultural nuances of the patients served.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques that promote resilience and holistic well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services to assist patients in urgent situations, maintaining a calm and supportive presence.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and the variety of treatment options and resources accessible to them.

You will be responsible for delivering care that is not only effective but also sensitive to the cultural contexts of your patients, ensuring that their needs are understood and addressed.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• You must hold a current and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and culturally competent therapeutic practices is paramount.

• Experience in conducting individual and group therapy utilizing inclusive and culturally responsive approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, enabling effective management of high-stress situations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
