Key Responsibilities\n

• Independently manage a diverse caseload as designated by the Social Work Services Department, conducting thorough evaluations to assess various factors affecting student well-being, including emotional, social, and economic influences.

• Implement a range of therapeutic modalities to address psychosocial issues, helping students navigate their challenges and ensuring they receive timely interventions that promote their academic and personal growth.

• Act as a liaison among students, families, and the school, coordinating treatment plans and providing crisis intervention services to promptly address emergencies and care challenges.

• Provide leadership within the healthcare team by advocating for high-risk students and facilitating discussions around advanced directives and relevant protective service concerns.

• Educate healthcare staff about the social work profession and the importance of addressing psychosocial determinants in patient care, enhancing the overall effectiveness of treatment strategies.

• Oversee and mentor junior social workers, interns, and volunteers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional accountability within the department.

• Develop resources and educational workshops for families and community agencies, thereby increasing support networks and reducing hospital readmissions through proactive measures.

Compensation and Benefits\n
