Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of clients' physical capabilities and limitations to develop individualized treatment plans that respond to their unique needs.
• Administer hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to promote healing and enhance mobility.
• Educate clients and their families on effective at-home exercises and self-care strategies to extend therapy benefits beyond sessions.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team, including physicians and other therapists, to ensure integrated client care focused on optimal recovery.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation of patient progress, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Stay updated with the latest orthopedic research and best practices to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This diverse patient population ranges from young athletes to older adults, each requiring customized and compassionate care to navigate their recovery journeys effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent qualification from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• 3 or more years of professional clinical experience, including internships or residencies, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong foundational knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, pathology, and treatment methodologies.
• Proficiency in the application of therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques specific to orthopedic care.

Preferred Experience

• 5 years of clinical experience in a similar orthopedic setting.
• Experience managing complex cases, including post-operative rehabilitation and chronic pain management.
• Previous involvement in multidisciplinary treatment approaches would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 120,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
