Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations and assessments for patients dealing with pain from personal injuries.
• Prescribe suitable medications, including NSAIDs, muscle relaxers, and medicated patches, tailored to individual patient needs.
• Order and interpret MRI scans as necessary to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Leverage telehealth platforms, facilitating remote consultations where appropriate to enhance accessibility for patients.
• Refer patients to physical therapy and other specialist services in the field of pain management to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain and document accurate patient medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish cohesive treatment plans, contributing to improved patient health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in New York State.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pain management or a closely related healthcare field is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package. The benefits include:
