Work Environment

The role is based onsite at our surgical center, which is equipped with advanced medical technology to support patient care. You will work a 40-hour week from Monday to Friday, concluding your day at 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and collaborate with physicians to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Perform detailed physical examinations and utilize diagnostic tests, interpreting results to inform care decisions.
• Administer various injections, specifically trigger point and joint injections, to alleviate pain effectively.
• Prescribe medications and provide tailored pain management recommendations based on individual patient evaluations.
• Continuously monitor and accurately document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about pain management techniques, treatment options, and overall health practices.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex patient cases and refine approaches to care.
• Advocate for your patients by informing them about their health conditions and empowering them through education.
• Contribute to organizational goals by advancing your professional knowledge and engaging in research and discussion pertinent to pain management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The position involves working with a diverse patient population experiencing chronic pain conditions, post-surgical pain, and related health challenges. Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
• A valid New York State Physician Assistant license.
• Current PA-C certification and possession of both a DEA and NPI number.
• Proficient understanding of healthcare regulations and best practices related to patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on teamwork.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physician Assistant in clinical settings, hospitals, or emergency departments is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 140,000 to 160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
