Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and necessary diagnostic tests to formulate accurate clinical assessments.
• Collaborate closely with supervising physicians to design, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans that accommodate the unique needs and preferences of each patient.
• Perform a variety of interventional procedures, such as joint injections, trigger point injections, and nerve blocks, under the supervision of a board-certified physician, ensuring patients receive timely relief from pain.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, utilizing electronic health records to refine treatment strategies and enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on diverse pain management strategies, including medication regimens, non-pharmacological interventions, and beneficial lifestyle modifications.
• Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team that includes physical therapists, psychologists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive and effective care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients experiencing a range of acute and chronic pain conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, conditions such as osteoarthritis, neuropathic pain, whiplash, and post-surgical pain management. Your role will focus on understanding each patient's unique experience of pain and tailoring interventions that holistically address their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is a required minimum.
• Current state licensure and national board certification are essential for this role to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a compassionate bedside manner that builds trust with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience
