Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, groups, couples, and families, employing a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and training sessions, staying abreast of the latest research and techniques in the field of mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients represent a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences, primarily consisting of individuals and families who may face obstacles in accessing mental health care. You will encounter a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related issues, substance use disorders, and interpersonal relationship difficulties. Understanding cultural sensitivities and building rapport with a diverse clientele is essential for effective therapeutic practice.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
