Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health, specifically focusing on mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions, to gauge severity and symptom frequency.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring these plans align with their personal goals and preferences.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment interventions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, clarifying treatment options and advocating for effective self-care strategies.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in their mental health status.
\n
• Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, contributing to a holistic approach to patient care and ensuring integrated treatment strategies.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment methodologies in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Stay informed regarding the latest research and best practices in mental healthcare, using this knowledge to enhance clinical efficacy.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to collaborate with colleagues and engage in professional development activities.

• Champion the de-stigmatization of mental health issues, advocating for the needs and rights of clients throughout the therapeutic process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with individuals facing various mood disorders. Our clientele is diverse, representing a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. As a therapist, you will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and empowering atmosphere that fosters healing and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT, indicating your qualifications and commitment to ethical practice.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field, paired with current licensure, is required.

• Understanding of California Law and Professional Ethics as they pertain to mental health practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 3 years of experience working with clients experiencing mood disorders, addiction, or related mental health challenges.
\n
• Experience in outpatient settings and familiarity with telehealth practices are strongly preferred.
\n
• Prior work with clients facing learning disabilities, behavioral concerns, or social/emotional disorders is a plus.
\n
• Recent TB Test (within the last 6 months) and the ability to pass a thorough background check through the FBI and DOJ are prerequisites.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
