Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to gain a thorough understanding of client concerns and collaboratively formulate personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or solution-focused therapy, adapting approaches to meet clients' individual needs.

• Engage in continuous collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate care and support comprehensive treatment for clients.

• Document client interactions accurately in electronic medical records systems, ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards, and maintaining confidentiality.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices and advances in the field of mental health.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing acute distress during sessions, prioritizing their safety and mental well-being.

• Contribute to program development initiatives, offering insights and feedback based on client needs and emerging trends in mental health.

• Develop resources and materials to assist clients outside of sessions, enhancing their coping skills and fostering greater independence in managing their mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a varied client base that includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and emotional regulation challenges. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, requiring a culturally competent approach to counseling that acknowledges and respects their unique perspectives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with clients.

• Demonstrated commitment to providing culturally competent and inclusive mental health care.

• Two or more years of experience in a clinical setting, providing counseling services to diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our counselors enjoy a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous salary, full-time counselors are eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend, enabling them to maintain their physical and mental wellness. Counselors will also have free access to our platform’s services, ensuring they can continually benefit from our offerings while actively involved in supporting clients.
