Description - What You'll Do

• Execute routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology-and others, following established protocols.
• Verify test results for accuracy, troubleshoot any issues, and maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments as necessary.
• Contribute to specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis when required.
• Keep detailed documentation of all procedures, assist in training new staff or students, and uphold high-quality standards in the lab.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, with current preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification for the duration of employment.
