As a Human Resources Manager, you’re not just overseeing daily operations of the hotel’s HR function – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day: Oversee daily HR operations: Manage key HR functions, including recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations, compliance, safety, and performance management, ensuring compliance with corporate HR policies and federal/local regulations Foster team member engagement: Lead employee relations initiatives such as recognition programs, special events, and engagement activities to create a positive workplace culture Manage HR systems and compliance: Oversee team member data management, track employment transitions, generate reports, and process unemployment claims Inspire and develop the team: Supervise, coach, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development opportunities, and recognize achievements to build, retain, and engage a high-performing team What It Takes to Make the Stay At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member: A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality.
