Work Environment\n

As a remote therapist at Bayview Psychotherapy Services, you will enjoy a flexible work schedule with core hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While you'll have the autonomy to manage your own schedule, some flexibility may be required based on patient needs. This role enables you to engage with patients directly through teletherapy platforms, allowing for a versatile and convenient approach to mental health treatment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine patient needs and develop customized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, tailored to individual, couple, and family needs.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that foster a sense of community and provide tools for coping with mental health issues.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention services to patients experiencing acute mental health challenges, providing immediate support and guidance.

• Educate clients about their mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and utilize community resources effectively for support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in adherence to ethical and legal standards, ensuring streamlined patient care and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice caters to a diverse patient pool, addressing various mental health conditions including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. As a therapist, you will work closely with patients from varying backgrounds, offering personalized care that respects their unique experiences and cultural contexts.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven ability to conduct thorough assessments and formulate effective treatment plans.

• Experience providing therapeutic services to diverse populations in individual or group settings.
