Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, including mental health evaluations and preliminary interviews, documenting client progress from the initial consultation through to discharge.

• Develop individualized treatment plans for clients, which may include interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on their unique needs and goals.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions and group therapy workshops, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to foster client engagement and improvement.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary to meet client goals and enhance therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals such as psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers to ensure comprehensive treatment and support for clients.
\n
• Provide follow-up care and communication with external healthcare providers for clients who have been hospitalized or are under psychiatric care, fostering continuity of care.
\n
• Identify potential barriers to recovery and implement strategies to mitigate these challenges for clients and their families.
\n
• Engage in outreach and support for family members and primary caregivers, offering guidance on managing mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population is diverse, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds and with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and more. You will work with clients of different age groups, tailoring your approach to meet their specific psychological and emotional needs while retaining a supportive and empathetic demeanor.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.
\n
• Achievement of passing scores on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems, familiarity with tools such as AVATAR will be advantageous.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey therapeutic concepts and maintain professional documentation.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with clients, exhibiting a compassionate and supportive approach in all interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience functioning as a mental health counselor in a telehealth or outpatient setting.

• Understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration and comfort working within a team of healthcare professionals.
\n
• Experience dealing with co-occurring disorders, including substance use, in conjunction with mental health issues.
\n
• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• An in-depth understanding of psychotropic medications prescribed by other healthcare providers and their impact on mental health treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
