Key Responsibilities\n

• Initiate discharge planning on the day of patient admission, ensuring a structured transition plan is established, including confirmation of discharge appointments with clients and their families.

• Manage crises effectively during therapy sessions, delivering immediate support to clients while collaborating with milieu staff to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.

• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation at the point of service, adhering to compliance standards and best practices to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Establish therapeutic rapport with clients and their support networks, focusing specifically on assessing suicidality and ensuring patient safety.
\n
• Conduct thorough admission assessments with professionalism, contributing to the welcoming environment for new clients during their initial contact with our services.
\n
• Engage in weekly treatment team meetings, contributing to the development and communication of treatment goals while providing additional support as needed for fellow team members.
\n
• Facilitate utilization reviews, effectively providing necessary clinical information to insurance companies for initial and ongoing authorizations to ensure coverage for client care.
\n
• Maintain accessibility to family members by responding to calls and emails promptly, further promoting trust and collaboration throughout the treatment process.

• Coordinate with the Utilization Review and Business Departments regarding authorization and payment processes, ensuring seamless communication for continuity of care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree (MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or Clinical Social Work from an accredited program.

• An independent and valid license in the state of Oregon, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.

Compensation and Benefits\n
