Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that take into account the diverse backgrounds and unique experiences of each patient to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices, adapting interventions to better suit individual patients’ cultural and personal narratives.

• Lead individual, family, and group therapy sessions focusing on resilience, self-advocacy, and wellness, ensuring patients receive the support they need.

• Work in unison with psychiatrists, psychologists, and a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care, fostering a holistic approach to mental health.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support to patients experiencing mental health emergencies, maintaining a calm and reassuring presence.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, specific treatment modalities, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery process.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records, complying with applicable legal and ethical standards while using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid independent license in the state of Oregon as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
