Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to develop individualized treatment and discharge plans that align with client needs and organizational goals.

• Engage with multidisciplinary health care teams, ensuring seamless communication regarding client progress, treatment adjustments, and potential challenges throughout their care journey.

• Keep accurate and compliant documentation, maintaining clinical records and progress notes in accordance with departmental policies and legal requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at MindShift Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues. Your role will involve tailoring interventions to meet the unique cultural, social, and emotional needs of each client, ensuring a holistic approach to their mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with advanced education preferred (Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related discipline).

• Active and valid licensure in the State of Oregon as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.

• In-depth knowledge of psychological theories, assessment tools, and evidence-based treatment modalities, coupled with a commitment to continued professional development.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with clients, families, and the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in working with substance use disorders, group therapies, or specialized population groups (e.g., adolescents, LGBTQ+ clients) will be prioritized. Familiarity with telehealth practices and online therapeutic interventions is also a plus.
