Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct risk assessments and develop comprehensive safety plans for clients, ensuring that documentation is completed on the same day for any individuals at increased risk of crisis intervention.

• Maintain effective crisis alerts to facilitate coordination with county crisis services for program participants, guaranteeing a seamless support experience.
\n
• Oversee transitions between hospital/inpatient services and community programs, collaborating with hospital staff and other stakeholders to ensure continuity of care during discharges.

• Provide milieu support as the Clinician of the Day, using crisis de-escalation techniques to assist individuals in moments of acute distress.
\n
• Document all client interactions meticulously to maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, adhering strictly to organizational protocols and compliance regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role involves working with a diverse patient population ranging from individuals facing acute mental health crises to those requiring ongoing therapy. You will support clients from various backgrounds, working strategically to address their specific challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. Your work will directly contribute to improved mental health outcomes, supporting individuals in developing coping skills and achieving stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

• Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively and delegate responsibilities as needed to ensure high-quality services while managing a substantial caseload.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and maintain rapport with clients to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Compensation and Benefits\n

At Mind Discovery, we offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000 annually, reflecting your experience and caseload responsibilities.
