Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, documenting findings from initial consultations to the conclusion of treatment.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health using standardized assessment tools and personal interviews.
\n
• Design and implement bespoke intervention and recovery plans tailored to the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support clients in their recovery journey.
\n
• Regularly monitor clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to develop cohesive treatment strategies.
\n
• Follow up with hospital staff regarding clients admitted for additional care, ensuring continuity of treatment.
\n
• Identify and address any behaviors that may impede recovery, providing supportive strategies to clients and their families.
\n
• Assist family members and primary caregivers in navigating mental health issues and enhancing their support for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from various backgrounds and possess a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and substance abuse issues. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with individuals and families, helping them develop coping strategies and facilitating their overall mental health transformation.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A demonstrated history of passing the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, with experience in platforms such as AVATAR.
\n
• Strong foundation in clinical assessment methodologies and therapeutic modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years' experience working as a mental health counselor, preferably in an outpatient setting.

• Experience working with diverse populations, particularly those with co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.

• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and ideologies.
\n
• A comprehensive understanding of psychiatric medications and their impacts on client treatment.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, supported by strong interpersonal abilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, with the potential for a sign-on bonus.
