Personal Lines property & casualty account manager

Hannon-Murphy Insurance, with offices in Pembroke, Plymouth, and Osterville, MA, is actively seeking a dedicated Personal Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. As a primary point of contact for our clients, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping their experience with our agency. We're looking for someone who combines strong technical skills with a warm, approachable personality and a genuine passion for helping people. Minimum Qualifications At least 3 years of experience in property & casualty insurance is required to be considered. Responsibilities Service personal lines accounts, including policy changes and claims handling Follow company guidelines and underwriting criteria Correspond and interact with clients and insurance company underwriters Research and explain coverage questions to clients Sell new and additional policies; identify cross-selling opportunities Handle initial claims, report losses to carriers, and follow up with clients throughout the process Core Competencies Genuine desire to help people Ability to follow agency procedures with minimal supervision Strong time management, problem-solving, and attention to detail Enthusiasm for continued learning Excellent computer skills Benefits Health insurance 401(k) with employer matching Paid time off Commission pay (60% new & 40% renewal producer business) Work Location: In person — applicants must be able to reliably commute to Pembroke, MA 02359 or plan to relocate prior to start date.
