Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at our clinic, your role will encompass a myriad of responsibilities designed to support our patient population: Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the specific needs of each client. Develop and implement treatment plans that incorporate the strengths and challenges of the family system, considering factors such as communication patterns, relational conflicts, and external stressors. Engage in ongoing assessment and evaluation of client progress, adjusting therapeutic strategies accordingly to optimize outcomes. Facilitate group therapy sessions when applicable, focusing on common issues such as grief, addiction, and family dynamics. Provide crisis intervention as needed, ensuring the safety and mental health stability of clients during emergencies. Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation that complies with legal and ethical guidelines. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various issues such as: Alcohol and substance abuse Physical and psychological trauma Grief and loss Family conflicts, including sibling rivalry and generational issues Life transitions such as separation, divorce, and remarriage Communication barriers and relational strain By addressing these crucial areas, you will play a vital role in guiding clients toward healing and improved relational dynamics. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Valid and active LMFT licensure in the state of Tennessee. A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong capacity for empathetic listening. Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and other digital tools for therapy. Preferred Experience While we welcome applications from all LMFTs, candidates with experience in the following areas will be prioritized: Working with a diverse population, including multicultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Utilizing trauma-informed care approaches in therapy. Experience in crisis intervention and management. Compensation and Benefits This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications.
