Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical intakes and therapy sessions for clients, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to individual needs. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Mental Health Counselor with Dayspring, you will work primarily with clients aged 9 through adulthood. Your role will significantly contribute to improving outcomes for individuals navigating mental health issues, enhancing their quality of life through targeted interventions. Qualifications A Master's Degree from an accredited program in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Current licensure as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Ability to maintain adequate Professional Liability Insurance coverage. Proven emotional resilience and excellent communication skills, essential for supporting clients in distress. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of supervisory or clinical experience in mental health treatment, with particular emphasis on individual and group therapy. Experience working within a community mental health setting, applying therapeutic techniques that are effective across diverse age groups. A background collaborating within multidisciplinary teams aimed at improving patient care.
