Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, including reviewing patient medical histories, performing specific assessments, and establishing comprehensive treatment plans based on findings.
• Effectively communicate evaluation outcomes and treatment options to patients and their families, involving them in goal-setting for their care.
• Implement and modify treatment protocols that are tailored to each patient's needs, while considering the dynamic nature of healthcare.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams when necessary, identifying changes in a patient's condition that may require adjustments in care plans or referrals to other healthcare providers.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and promptly, including initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, progress summaries, and discharge assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Exhibit excellent time-management skills and maintain a consistent schedule to meet productivity targets while being punctual for meetings and appointments.
• Participate in community marketing initiatives to promote access to our services and improve the overall patient experience.
• Proactively pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance professional competencies and contribute to the organization's growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist with Downtown Area Physical Therapy, you will address the needs of a wide range of patients, including those recovering from surgeries, dealing with chronic pain, or rehabilitating after injuries. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid Physical Therapy license for the state of Florida.
