Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments for clients with mental health and substance abuse concerns, considering both their medical and personal histories.

• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, and families.
\n
• Engage in individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing appropriate therapeutic techniques to foster emotional healing.
\n
• Document all evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans electronically while adhering to best practices in patient confidentiality and data management.
\n
• Perform suicide risk assessments when necessary and escalate patient concerns to appropriate healthcare providers in a timely manner.

• Work collaboratively with Quality Improvement teams to enhance service delivery and patient care processes.
\n
• Facilitate referrals to community resources, including medication assistance programs and recovery support services to ensure seamless access to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed clinical social worker at our Detox Center, you will primarily serve individuals dealing with substance abuse issues coupled with various mental health challenges. You will provide care for a diverse client population, including adults from different cultural backgrounds, which will require you to employ culturally responsive practices. Your expertise will significantly contribute to their recovery journeys, offering them support and guidance tailored to their specific conditions and circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess an active, relevant Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California.

• A Master's degree in Social Work is required, along with a minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical services.

• Strong knowledge of counseling techniques, crisis intervention strategies, and the ability to exercise independent judgment in clinical decision-making are crucial for success in this role.
