Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to determine their developmental needs.

• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) tailored to each child's unique circumstances.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate outcomes as a collaborative team member, contributing to the overall treatment planning process.

• Engage with families to provide support, resources, and strategies that promote their child's development.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal and State regulations governing social work practice.

• Administer various assessments employing evidence-based practices to establish a supportive learning environment for children and families.

• Fostering strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a positive and productive work atmosphere.

• Implement the IFSP for enrolled families, recommending service frequency based on child and family needs.

• Use coaching models and natural environment teaching strategies to facilitate learning.

• Adhere to safety and health standards to promote wellness for all participants.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children with disabilities or developmental delays, particularly those from underserved communities. This role encompasses overseeing regional programs that deliver essential early intervention services, aiming to enhance their physical, cognitive, and emotional skills during pivotal developmental years.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work is required.

• Active licensure issued by the Department of Public Health is mandatory, along with the LCSW credential.

• A valid driver's license to facilitate assessments and potential visits as needed.

• Minimal of one year of experience working with children in an early intervention context is preferred.
