Our team is the growth engine for Akamai, focusing on new customer acquisition and emerging industries. We deliver cloud security solutions to recognized companies and aim to engage new markets and scale our business. Responsibilities Identifying, prioritizing, and pursuing high‑value enterprise prospects to drive new customer acquisition across your territory. Developing and executing strategic account plans to penetrate target organizations and expand the pipeline. Owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close. Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including executive‑level decision makers. Partnering cross‑functionally with marketing, SDRs, and partners to generate and accelerate qualified opportunities. Forecasting pipeline and bookings, ensuring consistent progress towards targets. Qualifications 10+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree. Track record of consistent success selling enterprise‑class technology software, SaaS, internet‑based technology solutions to enterprise companies. Well‑established industry relationships across customers and relevant partners. Demonstrated experience selling into strategic accounts. Well‑versed in engaging, influencing, and building trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business. For US-based candidates only, the On‑Target Earnings (OTE, base salary + commissions) for this position ranges from $208,600 to $375,400 per year; OTE is determined by relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The package may also include equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
