Physician, Chief of Headache Neurology

Overview West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Neurology in the WVU School of Medicine is seeking a Chief of the Headache Division qualified for appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor rank. The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown, WV, and will lead the division’s clinical, research, educational, and administrative missions. Job reference: JR26-33851. Responsibilities Oversee administrative and financial operations of the division. Lead development of new clinical programs. Define and implement educational, research/scholarly, and clinical service missions for the division, department, and institute. Report directly to the Chair of Neurology. Qualifications MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) and eligible for state medical licensure. Completed neurology residency program and headache medicine fellowship. Board certified in headache neurology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. Location and Work Schedule Practice site: Morgan County, in the city of Morgantown, WV.
