Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status, focusing on the severity and impact of mood disorders.

• Develop customized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that their goals and preferences guide therapy.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment modalities, and self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs and any feedback received.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive comprehensive care and support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all clinical interactions, treatment plans, and assessments in compliance with applicable standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and stay informed about best practices.

• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with individuals facing mood disorders, providing therapeutic interventions tailored to their needs. This role requires sensitivity and understanding of the unique challenges posed by these conditions, and you will play a significant role in helping clients navigate their treatment journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New Jersey.
\n
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and its intersection with therapeutic practices.
\n
• Strong communication skills and the demonstrated ability to build rapport with a diverse range of clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with two or more years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders will be prioritized. Experience with evidence-based treatment modalities, including CBT and DBT, as well as a successful track record of client outcomes, will enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
