About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel with a focus on funds to join their team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the fundraising and establishment of various investment vehicles. This includes overseeing both US registered and unregistered investment companies, managing fund formation and registration, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role also involves providing essential support for board activities, governance, and marketing review, as well as handling fund agreements and engaging in special projects. Experience with BDCs and regulated investment companies, particularly in the context of liquid alternatives, is highly valued. Applicants for this role should have a minimum of 8 years' legal experience in the investment management sector, with a strong emphasis on the Investment Company Act of 1940 and US federal securities laws. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing multiple priorities across teams in a dynamic environment and possess strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with C-level executives.
