Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews to assess patients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health, documenting each case comprehensively from initial consultation through the treatment process.

• Develop personalized intervention and recovery plans tailored to individuals, families, and groups, guiding clients towards their mental health goals.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to address client needs effectively.
\n
• Monitor client progress throughout treatment, utilizing standard assessment tools to measure outcomes and adjust therapeutic approaches accordingly.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists, physicians, nurses, and social workers, ensuring an integrated approach to client care.

• Coordinate referrals for additional services as required, acting as a liaison between clients and other healthcare providers to optimize care pathways.

• Provide follow-up communication with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients requiring hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care upon their return.

• Assist family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing challenges related to clients' mental health, reinforcing a family-centered approach to therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals with anxiety disorders, depression, addiction issues, and other mental health conditions. You will be instrumental in creating a safe space where clients feel heard and understood, promoting recovery through evidence-based interventions and compassionate support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a nationally accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or other relevant credential in the state of Arizona.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, ensuring efficient management of client documentation and care coordination.
\n
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and empathetic engagement with clients and healthcare collaborators.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine empathy for clients facing mental health challenges.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in mental health counseling with a focus on individual and group therapy.

• Understanding of various physical and emotional health conditions, including addiction disorders.
\n
• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Awareness of the effects of pharmacological treatments prescribed by medical professionals as they relate to clients’ mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting your experience and qualifications.
