Property Accountant

Job Description Job Description Title: GL Accountant Bill Rate: $35-38/HR Hours: M-F 8-5 Location: S700 S Flower St,Los Angeles CA Day to Day tasks: Handle day-to-day accounting tasks Manage depreciation (straight-line method) Prepare financial documents including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, and budget. Ensure the general ledger, taxes, and other financial information data are correct and up to date. Close month-end accounting entries and reconcile balance sheets and profit and loss statements. Post to GL and reviews variances to budget and review data to forecast changes to the business. Review variance explanation reports for accuracy. Track accounts receivable and confirm all payments are properly recorded. Check all accounts to make sure they have the correct balances. Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. Qualifications: 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred MRI system experience is a plus Basic computer functions Interview process: 1-2 in-person interview Summary: As a GL Accountant, you will be responsible for accounting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger.
