Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for:

• Delivering holistic physical therapy services to an assigned group of patients, tailoring treatment plans in conjunction with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Conducting thorough patient assessments to evaluate functional capabilities, pain levels, and rehabilitation needs, facilitating effective goal-oriented treatment.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques, that align with the physician's directive and promote positive health outcomes.
• Training patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and assistive devices to encourage adaptive strategies outside of sessions.
• Managing your caseload efficiently, prioritizing daily tasks, and coordinating with administrative teams to meet patient care requirements.
• Reflecting on and documenting patient progress regularly, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery trajectories.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

• A current, valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, which must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• A strong commitment to patient care, demonstrating empathy and effective communication.

Preferred Experience
