Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite, involving direct interaction with patients in their homes. You will benefit from working in a variety of residential settings, which allows you to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique environment and lifestyle. The scheduling for this role is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a balanced work-life structure while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on your clients' lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and establish goals tailored to their specific needs and aspirations.
• Design and implement cost-effective treatment programs that enhance mobility and address musculoskeletal issues.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate a range of therapeutic techniques, ensuring the highest standards of practice.
• Guide and execute personalized fitness and wellness programs that support patient recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care and proven interventions to encourage optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize motivational techniques to inspire patients towards effective participation in their treatment journey.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle for clients by enhancing their strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Regularly evaluate and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, accidents, or those suffering from chronic musculoskeletal conditions. This diverse clientele ranges from active athletes to elderly patients, each requiring individualized and compassionate care that meets their specific rehabilitation goals. Your efforts will directly contribute to their ability to regain functional independence and improve their overall health.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active State license as a Physical Therapist, demonstrating your readiness to practice in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, focusing on musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
• Demonstrated competence in performing patient assessments, creating effective treatment plans, and delivering direct patient care.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• The ability to adapt to varying patient personalities and needs, ensuring a tailored caregiving approach.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in home care settings is highly desirable, providing you with insights into unique patient environments and challenges.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant physical therapy equipment will be advantageous.
• Background in community health initiatives related to physical therapy could enhance patient engagement strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

Bodywise Physical Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000 , with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
