Work Environment

As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will work in an onsite outpatient office that fosters collaboration and teamwork. Your typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a stable routine. The office is equipped with advanced rehabilitation tools, modalities, and technologies to support your interventions and enhance the recovery experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and goals, ensuring you develop effective and tailored treatment plans.
• Carry a patient load of one individual per hour, allowing you to provide focused and compassionate attention to each case.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic methods, including manual therapies, exercise prescription, and functional training, aimed at restoring movement and reducing pain.
• Design comprehensive fitness and wellness programs that address specific patient concerns, facilitating recovery and enhancing functional performance.
• Document all patient interactions and progress diligently, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and facilitating seamless communication with other healthcare providers.
• Engage with patients beyond treatment sessions to motivate them in their rehabilitation journey, encouraging autonomy and a proactive approach to health.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to case discussions and treatment planning to enhance patient care outcomes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions consistently and adjust treatment plans based on progress and patient feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will focus primarily on orthopedic patients recovering from surgical procedures, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting movement and daily activities. Your expertise will be critical for individuals seeking improved mobility due to conditions like arthritis, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and more. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, without any history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques, design of exercise programs, and effective utilization of electronic medical record systems like WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior hands-on experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting will be highly beneficial.
• Experience with a variety of patient demographics, ranging from children to geriatrics, will enhance care delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 95,000, coupled with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your overall well-being.
