Work Environment

This position requires an onsite presence, where you will work directly with patients in their homes, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care in a comfortable environment. Your regular work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, allowing for work-life balance while fully engaging in patient care activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' individual goals and requirements, devising personalized intervention strategies to meet their unique needs.
• Maintain a manageable caseload by focusing on one patient per hour, ensuring quality and thorough, individualized sessions.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and construct comprehensive care plans utilizing evidence-based practices and treatment techniques.
• Develop and implement customized fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving strength, flexibility, mobility, and overall patient health.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to assist patients in reducing pain and improving their range of motion.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software like WebPT for accurate record-keeping.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment, helping them stay engaged and focused on their recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients about their conditions and promote a healthy lifestyle, which includes injury prevention and management strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse population of orthopedic patients, ranging from those recovering from surgery to individuals managing chronic pain or sports-related injuries. Our commitment to personalized care means that you will strive to deliver treatments that cater specifically to the evolving needs of each patient, maintaining an open line of communication to ensure their comfort and understanding throughout the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) is required.
• Must possess an active Physical Therapist license in Florida, with no history of board or disciplinary actions on record.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Comfortable using EMR software like WebPT to document patient information and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a physical therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred, providing insight into efficient treatment modalities and patient interaction.
• Familiarity with current rehabilitation technologies and methodologies is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive salary range between USD 90,000 and 120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
