Remote Proofreader

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and reliable Proofreader to join our team. The ideal candidate has an excellent command of written English, a sharp eye for errors, and the ability to ensure that written content is clear, accurate, consistent, and professional.

As a Proofreader, you will review and refine a variety of written materials, identify grammatical and spelling errors, check punctuation and formatting, and ensure that content meets our quality standards before publication.

Key Responsibilities

• Proofread and edit documents, articles, website content, marketing materials, reports, and other written content.
• Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and formatting errors.
• Ensure consistency in tone, style, terminology, capitalization, and formatting.
• Review content for clarity, readability, accuracy, and overall quality.
• Verify facts, names, figures, references, and other details where required.
• Work closely with writers, editors, content teams, and other departments to resolve issues and improve content.
• Maintain attention to detail while working under deadlines.
• Follow established editorial guidelines, style guides, and brand standards.
• Complete assigned proofreading tasks accurately and within required timelines.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong command of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Previous proofreading, editing, writing, or content-related experience is an advantage.
• Ability to identify even minor errors and inconsistencies.
