Junior Accountant

Role Description

The Junior Accountant plays a vital role in delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting a mission-driven healthcare organization. Qualifications

• CPA certification is preferred
• At least 5 years of accounting experience with strong US GAAP exposure
• Proficiency in NetSuite Financials; experience with Zuora is an advantage
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and other office tools
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Ability to work US East Coast business hours (EST)
• Experience in multi-entity or international accounting is a plus

Requirements

• Manage general accounting functions including financial statements, reconciliations, and reporting aligned with US GAAP
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across NetSuite Financials, including GL, AP, AR, and closing processes
• Support revenue recognition, deferred revenue accounting, and subscription-based financial operations
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities with timely and accurate outputs
• Conduct variance analysis, account reconciliations, and financial audits as required
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
• Utilize Excel, Word, and office tools for financial analysis and reporting
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency
