Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work environment that accommodates the needs of both staff and patients. With a standard workweek from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, our counselors utilize telehealth technologies to connect with clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients to determine their mental health needs, ensuring an accurate diagnosis of conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, or other emotional disorders.

• Engage actively with clients through telehealth sessions, providing a safe space to discuss their experiences and develop a trusting therapeutic alliance.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, incorporating a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to specific needs and preferences.

• Educate clients about trauma-informed coping strategies, stress management techniques, and self-care practices to promote emotional resilience.

• Track and monitor patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans while maintaining open communication regarding any changes or concerns.

• Coordinate services with social and healthcare providers, including direct communication with community organizations to ensure comprehensive care and resources for patients.

• Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to maintain certification as a National Certified Counselor and stay current with therapeutic best practices.

The primary focus of this position is on trauma injury patients who require sensitive and effective mental health care. Our clients may struggle with emotional and psychological challenges stemming from traumatic experiences, necessitating a counselor who is experienced, empathetic, and skilled in evidence-based therapeutic practices. Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field is required.

• Possession of a valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
